Disc golf is a fun outdoor sport that can be played by people of all ages and skill levels. Like traditional golf, players make shots—drives, approaches, putts—starting from a tee and ending in a hole (basket).

We will begin with a short clinic led by experts on how to play disc golf—different shots, rules and etiquette—and then play a casual tournament on a temporary course laid out in scenic Ford Park. The first round will be followed by a pizza lunch, and a second round will be played in the afternoon. We will conclude with some side games and an awards ceremony.

There will be separate men’s and women’s divisions. The Fall Fling will be limited to 40 entrants, and of that 12 spots (minimum) will be held for the women’s division until October 21.

Cost: $25 per person. Each player will receive three discs (driver, mid-range, and putter), a mini-disc marker, lunch and entry into the prize pool.
